Describe GTN OINTMENT. GTN ointment (Rectogesic®) is a unique medication preparation that causes the muscle around the anus to relax. It is used for ailments that cause pain in the anus, such as anal fissures, acutely inflamed hemorrhoids, or following hemorrhoidectomy surgery.
